Keziah Taylor celebrated her first birthday on Monday (May 23). The little one’s mom, Fantasia Barrino, and dad, Kendall Taylor, took to Instagram to commemorate her milestone.
“From the NICU to a Big Happy 1st Birthday Poo,” Fantasia wrote online. “@keziahlondontaylor, Mommy and Daddy are coming home with Ms. Minnie Mouse to PARTY,” the recording artist promised her daughter. Fantasia also shared pictures from Keziah’s birthday celebration given by her godmother. The youngster was showered with balloons and much more.
“What a blessing to see her growing,” one social media follower said. “Seems like yesterday she was born,” the Instagram fan added.
Many were excited to hear of Fantasia and Kendall Taylor’s expectancy last year. Fans were even more thrilled when they were surprised with a social media post in which Fantasia revealed she had given birth to her daughter. Keziah, however, was born prematurely and spent several weeks in NICU as a result.
“Keziah was born a little too early but she is a fighter just like her Mother,” Fantasia told her supporters last May. “When you see the words Strength, Determined, Perseverance, and Unbreakable think of Fantasia Monique Taylor,” the singer advised.
Many gave their support to Fantasia and Kendall at the time by telling the celebrity couple they were praying for Keziah. Fantasia’s supporters were overjoyed when the celebrity mom told them that her baby had come home after spending nearly a month in intensive care.
“Praise God,” one social media follower exclaimed. “Congratulations,” another supporter wrote. “We’ve been praying for you all. God is so good.”
Keziah is Kendall Taylor’s first child. He was sure to write a beautiful message to his little one on her birthday this past Monday.
“Happy 1st Birthday @keziahlondontaylor,” Kendall exclaimed. “Thank you for teaching me the power of embracing my emotions as a Man,” he continued. “I’m indebted to your smile!”
