Mike Epps is enjoying fatherhood! On Monday, the comedian took to Instagram to share snaps of his kids with wife Kyra Epps. In one photo, the dad of six can be seen posing with Kyra and their son and daughter.
He captioned, “When i am not working you can catch me with my everything and the kids.”
Mike also shared a video of him having a special bonding moment with his baby boy. In the clip, Mike Epps Jr. can be heard laughing. “Mike Epps jr gotta lil James brown voice heyyyyyyyyyyy,” Epps wrote under the post.
Mike and Kyra Epps welcomed their son, Mike Jr., in October of 2021. Kyra shared the news of her son’s arrival alongside a photo of herself snuggling with the newborn.
“Son, we prayed for you!!! You have officially rocked our world,” she wrote in the caption. “Mama loves you so much.”
Mike and Kyra’s daughter, Indiana Rose Epps, was born a year earlier on March 12, 2020. Proud dad Mike Epps took to Instagram to share the happy news. He wrote, “Allow us to introduce to you our newest addition to the family……..INDIANA ROSE EPPS she rollin her eyes all ready. We are so gratefull God thank you for a healthy baby!”
Epps is also father to four other daughters — Madison, Moriah, Makayla, and Bria — from previous relationships. Little Mike Jr. is the first son for the comedian, who had always longed for a son.
Back in 2016, he said to People, “I wish I had a son. My mother had eight sons and one girl. My mother cried every day. A woman can’t control a little boy that much. You think they can, but it’s like dealing with a little man.”
The Next Friday actor jokingly added, “I think the gene pool switched up. I had all the girls that she wanted!”
