Congratulations are unquestionably in order for Baton Rouge, LA high school senior Kassidy Parnell. The talented Tara High School senior has received a whopping 106 college offers and $4.5 million in scholarships.

“This girl is a hard worker, loyal friend, organized, witty and makes good decisions. She loves to learn new things,” her parents told reporters in a recent interview. “If she doesn’t know something she will look it up and remember everything about it. She is not afraid to explore new horizons and takes pride in her school and the work she does for IBM. She really makes our job easy as parents.”
Parnell has excelled in high school even enrolling also at the Baton Rouge Community College to receive dual college credit. The scholar told WNTZ news that her current favorite courses are her Computer Science classes. Parnell currently has a 4.1 GPA and is valedictorian of her school’s 2022 class.
A few of the schools that have accepted Parnell include Southern University, Saint Louis University, Butler University, Oklahoma State, Marquette University, Seton Hall, Loyola University Chicago, the University of Kansas and Kent State.
In addition to all of her accolades, the teen has also received four full ride scholarships and 13 Presidential Scholarships.
Although Parnell hasn’t yet narrowed down her school choices, she is currently touring campuses every weekend, in hopes that that will help her pick the one. The teen is scheduled to visit Dillard and Xavier University next.
So, what does this amazing young woman like to do in her free time? Well, Parnell stated that she enjoys English, reading, listening to music and studying cybersecurity.
Parnell will be graduating on May 18, 2022. Congratulations, Kassidy! We are extremely proud of you and cannot wait to see what the future holds. We have a feeling that your future will unquestionably be amazingly bright!
