Dwyane Wade’s daughter, Zaya Wade, is ringing in the new year in style. The teen recently shared pictures with her Instagram fans that brought her love for Fendi to the spotlight.
“A very Fendi new year, Zaya told her social media supporters. “Love this fit,” one fan said in reference to Zaya’s outfit. Other Instagram fans posted flame emojis to indicate the fierceness of the teen’s style. “Only good things to come in 2022,” Zaya told her supporters.
Many view Zaya Wade as an individual who is wise beyond her years. The teen recently shared with ESSENCE how she practices self-love.
“I would say every morning and every night I look in the mirror and I tell myself, ‘I’m beautiful, I’m worth it and this day is going to be great,'” Zaya told the media source when asked about positive affirmations she recites on a consistent basis. “And at night I say, ‘I’m still beautiful and still worth it. And tomorrow is going to be great,'” the teen added. “And I have to tell myself that every day. I think it really helps me get through each day and start off another day on a positive note.”
Starting off the day on a positive vibe is especially important given the current social climate. “I would say probably during the start of COVID when my mindset went a lot more negative and I could just tell, even in my household, just everything seemed a lot more drab and there was a gray [cloud],” Zaya told ESSENCE in reference to how the coronavirus pandemic has impacted her family.
“I just realized that I have to start thinking on a positive note,” Wade shared. “I started diving into passions and focusing on how things are going to go instead of how things are going. And I realized that having a very optimistic mindset really helps other people have their opportunities to have an optimistic mindset as well.”
