North West found herself in hot water this past weekend when she decided to go Live on TikTok without her mom Kim Kardashian’s permission. Many fans praised Kim for having a firm stance when it came to North’s social media activity.

North gave her TikTok fans a full house tour before coming to her mom’s room where Kim was resting in bed. “Mom, I’m Live,” North said while approaching her mom’s bed. “No,” Kim exclaimed. “Stop,” the celebrity mom said firmly. “You’re not allowed to do that.” North responded to her mom’s reprimand by immediately giving her fans a farewell message. “Okay, bye,” North said before logging off. Some thought Kim’s reprimand came too late as North had already opened the family’s home to strangers.

“I don’t think this is healthy at all,” one concerned fan said. “I know the grown-ups of the family work a lot with social media, but this shouldn’t be something the little kids do so early in life,” the social media follower continued. “The Internet is not a safe space and it’s very toxic. For North to have free access to a smartphone for long enough to go live on TikTok and show the whole house with no adult supervision is very dangerous. People could take advantage of the kids.”
Another concerned fan said, “This was so dangerous. Not only for North, but for them as a family. The stalkers must be so happy with the full house tour.”

Kim Kardashian has become more reserved about what she shares online after robbers burglarized her hotel room in Paris five years ago. “[The robber] grabbed me, and I was wearing a robe, and I wasn’t wearing anything under it,” Kim said of the robbery during an interview with David Letterman last year. “I was like, ‘Okay, this is the time I’m going to get raped. Just deal, it’s going to happen. Just prepare yourself.'”

Kim was not sexually assaulted during the encounter but the celebrity did lose $10 million worth of valuables in the burglary. “I can’t sleep at night unless there’s half a dozen security guards at my house,” Kim told David Letterman last year. “And that has just become my reality and that’s okay,” the celebrity mom declared.
North West is Kim Kardashian’s oldest child with Kanye West. The celebrities have four kids in all.
