Derrick Rose has a beautifully blended family. The NBA star was recently photographed while at a game with his fiancee, Alaina Anderson, and kids.
Derrick’s ex, Mieka Reese, was also at the game with their son, Derrick Rose Jr. The celebrity mom gave a big smile in a family picture that was nothing short of sweet. “Rose is a very smart guy,” one fan exclaimed. “Both two mothers around you,” the social media supporter added. “It takes smart man to do that!”
Derrick Rose and Alaina Anderson have two kids, Layla and London, together. The celebrity father and his ex-girlfriend were together for years before ending their relationship in 2013. Mieka Reese commented on her co-parenting relationship with Derrick Rose shortly after the news of their breakup went public.
“PJ is the center of my life now and Derrick and I work together to co-parent for him,” Mieka told her social media fans in 2013. “No, Derrick and I are not in a relationship anymore but our friendship has always been there and will continue to grow,” Reese continued. “Even if our only purpose in life was to create our son, I’m fine with that,” Mieka shared with her fans. “My son is the greatest gift I could’ve asked for.”
Derrick Rose and Mieka Reese came together to give their son a spectacular birthday celebration last year despite the lockdowns caused by the coronavirus pandemic. The celebrity parents gave their son a bash based on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air that bolstered the city of Chicago instead of the luxurious neighborhood in Los Angeles County.
“It’s my best friend birthday,” Mieka told her social media fans on her son’s special day last year. “Today we celebrate you, tomorrow we party,” the celebrity mom wrote to her son.
Derrick Rose Jr. turned 9-years-old last month. He is the oldest of Derrick Rose’s three kids.
