Derrick Rose and Mieka Reese are showing the world how to co-parent. The NBA star and his ex-girlfriend shared pictures from Sunday’s game at Madison Square Garden that featured them as a united front with matching sweaters.
Mieka, Derrick, and little PJ wore navy blue sweaters that were spotted with what appeared to be teddy bears. PJ’s outerwear was a pullover while his mom and dad’s sweaters were buttoned down creations. Little PJ’s Instagram page reflected on the harmony shared between his parents and the insurmountable amount of fun that he had at the game. “Had so much fun at Dad’s game,” one social media update read.
Another picture showed PJ hanging out with mom on the sidelines. “Your family is just so cute for matching,” a follower noted.
Derrick Rose and Mieka Reese called it quits a few years ago but committed themselves to co-parenting. “No Derrick and I are not in a relationship anymore but our friendship has always been there and will continue to grow,” Mieka told fans. “Even if our only purpose in life was to create our son, I’m fine with that,” she added. “My son is the greatest gift.”
PJ is Derrick Rose and Mieka Reese’s only child. He celebrated his fourth birthday last October.
