What’s in a name? Tamron Hall is happy to provide an answer to this question. The talk show host shared why she decided to name her son “Moses” during her latest interview on Me Becoming Mom.
“We’d already decided on his name early on — my husband is Jewish, I’m Christian and Moses was the only prophet recognized by all seven religions,” Tamron told the podcast’s host and audience. “I could not imagine any other name, although we did bat around Bob, in honor of Bob Marley,” Hall revealed.
“I’m happy I did not name my son Bob,” the celebrity continued. “He is Moses,” Tamron added. “He’s definitely Moses.”
Tamron Hall and her husband, Steve Greener, decided to keep their expectancy a secret until she was weeks away from giving birth to their son. “I got a call from one of my team members who said to me that a tabloid had reached out and said that I was pregnant,” Tamron recalled during her interview with Me Becoming Mom. “I said to my team that this was my journey and I didn’t want to cede that to others.”
Tamron Hall decided to tell the public about her pregnancy when she was 32 weeks into her journey. “I remember hearing that little ‘Baby Shark’ song somewhere, I don’t know where. And I ran upstairs and grabbed this dress and my husband grabbed the phone and I said, ‘We’re gonna do a visual baby reveal!’ He’s like, ‘What are you doing? Are you nuts!'”

In fact, Moses made a cameo in Tamron Hall’s trailer promoting the new season of her talk show. The little one was only featured for a few seconds but, nevertheless, stole the spotlight.
