Matt Barnes’ ex-wife, Gloria Govan, is calling out his girlfriend, Anansa Sims. Govan took to Instagram to blast Sims after a social media post meant to celebrate Govan and Barnes’ sons, Carter and Isaiah, on their birthday went left.
Anansa took to Instagram last Thursday (Nov. 11) to join Matt and Gloria in commemorating Carter and Isaiah’s birthday. “Happy 13th Birthday Carter and Isaiah,” Anansa wrote to Gloria and Matt’s sons. “I’m so grateful to have you Two Loving Lights in my life,” the celebrity added.
Anansa also referenced her oldest son, David Patterson, who celebrated his birthday on the same day as Carter and Isaiah. “Four different parties in one day, but us parents worked together to pull it off and made sure David, Carter, and Isaiah all felt loved, supported, and celebrated,” Anansa declared in her social media post.
Many called Anansa Sims a super mom for seemingly working with Matt Barnes and Gloria Govan to give their kids a beautiful celebration. Gloria, however, took to social media to set the record straight.
“Ok. Now, this is just becoming too much,” Govan exclaimed online. “I’ve asked before to leave MY kids out of your FALSE narrative,” the celebrity added. “You know fully well MY kid’s birthday celebration had absolutely nothing to do with you or your son,” Govan told Sims.
“At this point, this sh*t is just flat-out weird,” Gloria continued. “Your obsession with MY kids is awkward and crazy! I’ve tolerated it long enough. Your whole super mommy, stepmom, blended family bullsh*t is hilarious. My kids tolerate you because I raised them well. But don’t get things twisted; they don’t f*ck with you or your kids! They get irritated that [you] always try to force pictures and videos of them.”
Gloria Govan went on to demand that Anansa Sims leave her and Matt’s kids out of the picture. “What you and Matt got going on is one thing. But once you continuously and obsessively keep trying to involve MY kids, that becomes [a] whole different story, and now I’ve got to get involved,” Gloria wrote to Anansa.
“I’ve asked you before not to post them. You obviously don’t listen. Now I’m telling you! Cut the sh*t,” Govan demanded. “Leave MY kids off your social media. Stop lying. Or it’s going to become a problem.”
Anansa Sims and Matt Barnes have one son, Ashton Joseph Barnes, together. David is Anansa’s son with her ex-husband, David Patterson Sr. Gloria Govan and Matt Barnes welcomed Isaiah and Carter on November 6, 2008.
