Kevin Hart and son Hendrix were enjoying a basketball game on Monday (Nov. 8) at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California, when Russell Westbrook came to greet them. Russell gave Kevin a hug and shook Hendrix’s hand before taking off the sneakers he wore while playing the game. Westbrook gifted Hendrix his shoes, which put a big smile on the teen’s face.
Hendrix Hart, who officially celebrated his 14th birthday on Monday, is already taller than his father. “Taller than me and already cooler than me,” Kevin shared with his social media fans. “Love u son,” Hart wrote to his son.
Dozens of fans praised Kevin Hart for helping to put a smile on his son’s face. Others noted Hendrix’s height in comparison with his father’s stature. “Kevin’s son is already taller than him,” one social media fan said. “That’s got to be his son’s max height,” another Instagram user mused.
Hendrix is Kevin Hart’s son with his first wife, Torrei Hart. The youngster received loads of love on his birthday, which included a beautiful tribute given to him by his mom.
Torrei shared a throwback video clip of her son learning to walk in celebration of Hendrix’s special day. “I have a 14-year-old,” Torrei told her social media fans. “I remember this day like it was just a year ago,” the celebrity mom said of the throwback video clip.
“I love you so much, Hendrix,” Torrei wrote to her son. “You are such a kind soul with one of the biggest hearts I have ever encountered. I’m so blessed to have a son like you,” the celebrity mom shared. “Our mommy, son moments are always epic. Enjoy your day handsome!”
Torrei Hart and Kevin Hart have two kids, Hendrix and Heaven, together. Kevin has four kids – Heaven, Hendrix, Kaori, and Kenzo – in all.
