Anansa Sims enjoyed a day at the pumpkin patch with her kids this past weekend. The model shared pictures from the event with her social media fans.
“My Pumpkin Patch Kids,” Anansa shared along with a series of photos. The celebrity mom made certain that all members of the family were matching with yellow and white shirts coupled with denim. Anansa and her daughter, Ava, wore identical shirts. Meanwhile, the boys of the family wore the same shirts as well.
“Beautiful pictures,” one social media follower said. “They are keeping you young,” the fan told Anansa. “You look like their big sister who is babysitting while your parents are out of town.” Yet another supporter wrote, “So much love in this photo.”
Anansa Sims has focused on her kids and her life as a single mom as of late. The model was previously in a relationship with her youngest son’s father, Matt Barnes, which ended last year with a restraining order and public statement. Matt released a statement about his very public breakup from Anansa last February in the midst of a custody battle over their son, Aston Barnes.
“I knew the pain of being apart from a child and wanted Aston close to me as much as possible,” Matt shared with his social media fans. “In an attempt to do the right thing, I tried to ‘play house,'” the celebrity father told his supporters.
For more than a year, I tried to make the arrangements work. Unfortunately, it did not work,” Matt continued. “Although I tried to handle this privately as adults without outside input, I have no choice but to allow the four to intervene,” the celebrity explained. “As it relates to the restraining order [Anansa obtained], this comes out of the blue after I had been out of town working to provide for my boys. It is perfectly timed to align with our upcoming court date. In the end, I wish Anansa luck.”
Matt Barnes and Anansa Sims have moved forward from the challenges they endured last year to co-parent their son in harmony. The celebrities also occasionally coordinate playdates that include both Anansa and Matt’s kids from previous relationships.
