TIA MOWRY TALKS BALANCING MOTHERHOOD WITH SELF-CARE AND MORE

"My Routine"

There is a science to motherhood, according to Tia Mowry. The Family Reunion star shares how she balances her life as a mom with her duties as an actress all while maintaining a healthy level of self-care.

“My alarm clock is my daughter, Cairo,” Tia says of her toddler. “When she wakes up, I bring her into my room to spend some morning time together,” the celebrity mom says. “After that, it’s time for me to start getting myself ready,” Mowry says of her morning routine.

“My routine starts with skincare: Shani Darden’s three-step kit,” the celebrity reveals in reference to her beauty schedule. “I wash my face, and while I’m doing that my husband (he’s so kind) will bring in some warm tea. I love waking up to warm tea. It really resets and restarts my day. Then, I take my Anser supplements for hair, skin, and nails. I work on the external with the skincare, but the internal is really important, too. Before making breakfast and getting my workout in, I set the tone for the environment with sage or palo santo just to clear out the air.”

Tia Mowry debuted her Anser vitamin line last January. The driving force behind the veteran actress getting into the wellness sphere was her desire for everyone to take more interest in preventative health measures.

“I’ve wanted to inspire others to take charge of their own health and knew an experienced partner would allow me to better serve a broader community,” Tia said in a statement last year. “Anser is a proactive wellness tool that’s easily incorporated into your day-to-day life,” the celebrity added.

Tia also incorporates healthy eating into her life and the lives of her children. Fans of Tia Mowry’s Quick Fix have already seen the actress’ son, Cree Hardrict, cooking in the kitchen with his mom. It seems Cairo is also following the culinary path laid out by her mom. “We have a little kitchen ladder for her, so she can stand up at the counter with us and help out — or just snack,” Tia says of her daughter’s interest in cooking.
