You had the opportunity to see her last night in the series premiere of That Girl Lay Lay. Now, get to know more about Gabrielle Nevaeh Green as she talks her career and more in this exclusive interview with BCKOnline.
BCKONLINE: Gabrielle, you are no stranger to the small screen. Tell us how you got started in the industry?
Gabrielle Nevah Green: I started off in community theater. I was a part of my theater program at my school. And then things started spiraling out of control in the best way. We moved to LA, I started auditioning, I joined Nick, and here I am with you guys today.
BCKONLINE: People may not know that you also are a musician. Tell us how it has been transitioning to music and tell us about your guitar?
Gabrielle Nevah Green:
I’ve been doing music for a while now my first single release back in December. I’m working on new music now. But, you guys are gonna have to stay tuned for that. It’s got all kinds of different elements. implemented in it. You’ve got hip hop, you’ve got rap, you’ve got pop, all kinds of different things going on. But as for my guitar, I dabble on it, but I’m no Jimi Hendrix.
BCKONLINE: What’s next for you? What should we look forward to?
Gabrielle Nevah Green: New music, of course. But, Gremlins: Secrets of the Mogwai is coming out very, very soon. That’s my other show with HBO Max, it is the prequel to the Gremlins films. And then, of course, That Girl Lay Lay, premieres September 23 and new episodes of Nickelodeon Unfiltered are coming out very soon as well as well.
