Power star Rotimi and his fiancee, Vanessa Mdee are preparing for their baby’s arrival. The celebrity couple commemorated the impending birth of their little one with a baby shower earlier this week.
“Baby shower vibes,” Vanessa told her social media fans on Friday (Sept. 17). The celebrity also uploaded a series of candids from the event that featured family members and friends at the gathering.
Teddy bears were the highlight of Rotimi and Vanessa’s baby shower. The celebrity couple fashioned the theme of their bash after the stuffed animals that bring children so much joy.
Rotimi and Vanessa Mdee shared the news of their expectancy earlier this month. Rotimi shared the gender of his unborn child while doting on his fiancee online.
“My greatest gift has been you,” Rotimi wrote to his partner. “You changed my life and now we are beautifully linked forever to raise a little us,” the celebrity shared. “I pray our son has your glow Your heart, Your mind, and your spirit,” Rotimi wrote to Vanessa. “I will protect you and our son with everything I have,” the father-to-be declared.
Rotimi and Vanessa Mdee shared their excitement about becoming parents during a recent interview with PEOPLE. “We are super excited to welcome our son,” the celebrity couple shared. “As first-time parents, everything about this experience has been a brand-new challenge,” Vanessa and Rotimi continued. “We love it.”
Vanessa Mdee further doted on her fiance because of his incredible support during her pregnancy. “He’s been so good to us,” Mdee shared exclusively with PEOPLE. “No real pain or symptoms,” the mommy-to-be said. “Some funny cravings and food aversions here and there. It’s been much harder in these final weeks because he’s preparing his arrival, but all in all, we’ve been super blessed.”
