Ludacris absolutely enjoys being a girl dad. The celebrity father recently spoke with Yahoo!’s So Mini Ways about his life as a parent.
“My favorite part is the fact that I melt in their arms and it’s hard for me to tell them no,” Ludacris shares with the media source. “I’m the soft dad,” the celebrity admitted. “Their mothers have to be the ones that are hard on them and I’m always the one that’s the pushover,” Ludacris explained.
“So I think that’s the favorite part because I never thought I’d be this way. I’m an only child, so I never even thought I would have this many children, but it’s a joy. You never know how much love is possible. It’s amazing… the amount of love that’s in my household is something that I never fathomed. I wouldn’t say it never felt impossible; I just never dreamt it because I didn’t know that this much could be given and received every single day.”
Ludacris and his wife, Eudoxie Bridges, welcomed their youngest daughter, Chance Oyali Bridges, on July 28, 2021. Eudoxie took to Instagram after giving birth to her little one. “Our Chance Oyali Bridges came two weeks early and we are blessed to have another beautiful angel named after my late grandmother,” Eudoxie shared with her social media fans.
“The number one thing that I’ve tried to teach my children that was taught to me is setting goals for yourself, because if [you’re] not, there’s no navigating through this world,” Ludacris said during his interview with So Mini Ways. “You’re just kind of at the hands of what the world wants to do for you, as opposed to what you want to do for the world,” the celebrity father shared.
“When you have a very strong sense of exactly what it is you’re trying to accomplish, and you set timelines for yourself and you set precedents, I think that’s one of the most important things … to teach individuals about so that they have a navigation system of where it is they’re going.”
Ludacris and Eudoxie have two kids, Cadence and Chance, together. Luda is the father of four daughters – Cadence, Chance, Karma, and Cai – in all.
