Kim Kardashian hosted a screening for PAW Patrol: The Movie last week. The Keeping Up With The Kardashians (KUWTK) star went all out for her kids as well as her family and friends.
“I’m so excited that I get to show all my kids, and all my cousins, and all my friends my first movie,” Kim told attendees at her screening. One guest, who some suspect was North West, reminded Kim that PAW Patrol was not her first film. The celebrity was, after all, cast as an assistant in Tyler Perry’s The Marriage Counselor. Still, Kim told her attendees that PAW Patrol served as her first animated film, which was every bit exciting as being cast in a movie for the first time ever.
Kim Kardashian takes on the persona of Delores in PAW Patrol: The Movie. The KUWTK star brings all of the fierceness one could think of when giving the dog a voice. Yara Shahidi, Marsai Martin, Tyler Perry, Jimmy Kimmel, and Will Brisbin join Kardashian in making up the smash-hit cast.
Will Brisbin, who is the voice of Ryder, recently spoke with the press about his role in PAW Patrol. “This movie was my first experience doing voiceover, so in that regard, the whole production was a learning curve for me,” Brisbin revealed. “I had a lot of fun doing the recordings and it is definitely something I’d love to do more of in the future,” the actor exclaimed. “Something I learned is that voiceover work is still very physical. Even alone in a tiny booth, I found I needed to move to get into character just as I would on stage.”
There is much excitement revolving around PAW Patrol’s debut. “I am super excited,” Brisbin told the press. “I started working on the movie in February 2020, so I’ve seen the entire production process from start to finish. It’s going to be so cool to see the whole team’s hard work pay off! I can’t wait to see the joy on families’ faces across the world.”
You can catch PAW Patrol: The Movie on Paramount+ on Friday, August 20, 2021.
