Jojo Simmons and wife Tanice Amira Simmons have welcomed their second child together. Jojo took to his Instagram earlier today to share the very first photo of his baby boy. In the snap, the dad of two can be seen holding his infant, who is turned away from the camera.
He captioned the photo with song lyrics by rapper JadaKiss. “Show him his hope he gon think he know how its going , but ima show him da ropes and when I bring him to the Gucci store, show em’ the loafs. #FatherOf2,” he wrote.

Simmons and Tanice first announced their expectancy of a second child in April. “You would think that I would be prepared the second time around but I’m not,” Tanice admitted in an interview shortly after making the announcement. “I’m still asking questions like when should I start unboxing and when should I do this? [The] second time around, so far I think I am dragging my feet a little bit.”
Jojo and Tanice welcomed their first child, Mia Simmons, on February 20, 2016.
“Welcome Mia KayLee Simmons,” Tanice wrote at the time. “You are the most perfect baby girl. Mommy and Daddy have never been so happy! We are truly blessed you have given us the Best roles in life! Mommy & Daddy… Finally Parents! Our family is complete. I love you Mia. Thankful.” Jojo also shared a picture of himself while holding his daughter and told fans that it’s “the only way she’ll sleep.”
Jojo Simmons previously shared that becoming a father changed his life in the best way. “I had a lot of troubles, but me having a child matured me in a crazy way,” the celebrity father explained. “It made me look at life way differently and just made me way more focused on things.”

“Now, I don’t focus on things that don’t matter, or on people that don’t matter,” the star dad said. “So, I think me becoming a father really made me who I am today, and it’s the greatest thing in the world.”
After nine years of dating, Jojo and Tanice married in a lavish ceremony at The Legacy Castle in New Jersey on October 27, 2019. “We always knew it would be forever and this was the perfect time to make it official,” Jojo said said of the wedding to PEOPLE. Surrounded by our family and closest friends. I’ve never been happier to be able to call her my wife.”
