Lauren’s mother, Turquoise Miami, shared the devastating news of her four-year-old’s passing in an Instagram post on Saturday (July 31). “This is my amazing, beautiful, funny, vibrant, loving, talented, smart, and hardheaded princess mermaid Aquarius,” the mom wrote alongside a sweet video of Lauren playing around in a swimming pool.
“If you see this post scrolling by with her comment or just say to yourself, ‘I love you LAUREN’ because they say that souls can feel your love,” Turquise Miami requested. Dozens of fans sent love to both Turquoise Miami and the late Lauren Maxwell.

Turquoise Miami also asked fans to send Fetty encouraging words as he is taking the death of their daughter hard. “He hurting, y’all, and need some love and upliftment, too,” the bereaved mother said of her late daughter’s father. “Thank you, everyone, for your kind words , and prayers, love, wishes, and kindness. The energy is appreciated and felt.”
Turquoise took to social media to blast Fetty for being a deadbeat dad back in 2018. She now says that she and Fetty Wap are now on better terms. “The old videos of me complaining about Wap are from 2017-2019,” She recently explained on her Instagram stories. “Our co-parenting had improved off the Gram, and we came to a better place for Lauren. He became more financially and emotionally responsible for her. He didn’t post her the same way I did because Lauren use to get a lot of disrespectful things said about her and I asked him not to.”
“All that y’all need to know is Lauren loved her daddy and he loved her,” Turquoise Miami continued. “She made him laugh with her crazy, funny personality and she loved to be the center of attention and he loved to be her audience. It couldn’t hurt some of y’all to be a little bit compassionate, You dont have to kick a man while he’s down. Losing a child is as down as it gets.”
While on Instagram Live, Fetty shared that his daughter is now in a better place. “She good. My baby happy now. My shorty. That’s my little twin right there,” the rapper said while holding up a photo of Lauren. Fetty could not hold back the tears, which prompted viewers to send loving emojis.
Lauren was Fetty Wap and Turquoise Miami’s only child together. Fetty has seven kids in all.
