Iman Shumpert is a doting daddy. The NBA player took to his Instagram earlier today to share photos of his two favorite little girls-his daughters Iman Tayla(Junie) and Rue Rose.
He captioned the snaps, Park kids. Now it’s their go!
The Shumperts will soon be featured on a new docu-series in the fall. We Got Love Teyana & Iman follows Iman and wife Teyana Taylor as they navigate their careers and parenthood.
“We’re just sort of figuring it out,” Iman says in the show’s trailer. “The game is changing,” the NBA player says.
“My baby, Rue, she took her first crawl on camera. And Junie, her first day back to school,” Teyana recently said of the upcoming reality seires. “Usually my lens is on everybody else. It feels good for the lens to be on me and my family so I can look back and know I did a good job as a mom, I did a good job as a director, I did a good job balancing careers, balance your love, things that are important and good.”
Teyana Taylor and Iman Shumpert welcomed their second child, Rue Rose, last year. Rue joined her older sister at home after her mom gave birth to her in the family’s bathroom on September 6, 2020. Like her big sister, Iman Tayla , Rue Rose was delivered in a bathroom without the assistance of a hospital.
“At 3:28 am on Sept 6th 2020 Rue Rose decided that the baby shower thrown for her and mommy was too lit,” Iman shared on Instagram. He continued, ” She didn’t make the party but she managed to make the next day her birthdate!!! Now…when we buy homes, we always find a bathroom with great energy… but not in a million years would you be able to tell me we’d deliver both of our daughters in a bathroom without the assistance of a hospital,” he wrote. “Our newest edition entered the world in the water and came out looking around and ready to explore.”
We Got Love Teyana & Iman, premieres Thursday, September 2.
