Meet singer Nivea’s kids with Lil Wayne and The-Dream. The recording artist has three children – London, Navy, and Christian – with The-Dream. Nivea has a son named Neal with Lil Wayne. The recording artist got candid about her addiction to cocaine and how she overcame the habit with divine help and the love of her kids during an interview on Kandi Burruss’ show, On That Note.

“It was a lot going on in my family. There still is [a lot going on] that I won’t expose,” Nivea shared during her interview with Kandi. “I gave up. I wanted to quit. I was tired of being a mom only. I was tired of doing so much for my family. My grandma died the same way my mom did, [which was] on my sofa. I was just depleted. I felt like I was of no value to me or nobody (sic).”

Nivea’s depression led her to try cocaine in her 30s. Her desire to explore the drug once turned into an addiction that the singer thought would consume her life.

“I am so grateful I’m delivered,” Nivea told Kandi. “I remember so many times scraping through my d*mn carpet to find crumbs. It was terrible. It was so bad,” she added. “I never thought I would get over it. I never thought I would come out of that. I’m so grateful to God. I thought it was going to consume me and I was going to lose my babies.”

Nivea spent eight days in rehab before deciding to use the tools she learned at the facility at home. The recording artist slowly but surely stopped using cocaine after months of trying to quit.

Nivea’s kids were instrumental in helping her leave her addiction behind. “They just made me feel like something again,” the singer shared. “[They made me] feel special,” Nivea told Kandi.

“Addiction is when you are completely out of control. You can’t help it,” the recording artist went on to share during her interview. “I told my children, ‘Baby! Y’all can’t try sh*t. You’re going to be hooked. You’ve got it bad in your DNA. Don’t try it. It’s not worth it.'”

Nivea married producer Terius “The-Dream” Nash in 2004. The celebrities welcomed their daughter, Navy, on May 10, 005. Nivea and The-Dream’s twin sons, London and Christian, were born in April 2006. The couple ended their marriage the following year. Nivea reconciled with Lil Wayne, who was her ex-fiance, after finalizing her divorce from The-Dream. The two welcomed their son, Neal, in 2009.
