Erica Mena is calling her estranged husband, Safaree, out for neglecting their newborn son, Legend Brian Samuels, who has been in NICU for several days. The Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta (LHHATL) star recently blasted her spouse on Instagram Story.

Erica began by addressing Joe Budden’s ex, Kaylin Garcia, who Mena accused of having an affair with Safaree. “@kaylin_garcia real talk I been in the shoes of dealing with a man who lived a double life and I had no clue he was married. But you! Know Safaree is married. Who don’t (sic) know that,” Erica asked. “Not to mention he’s real friends with Joe Budden your ex,” the LHHATL star said.
Erica went on to discuss her and Safaree’s newborn son who has reportedly been in the NICU for days with no visits from dad. “Safaree just had a baby who he hasn’t seen in 4 days that’s in the NICU,” Erica shared. “That’s also no secret,” the celebrity added while still addressing her husband’s alleged mistress.

“I’m blasting both of you since he told you to lay low tonight,” Erica continued. “Clearly who (sic) both know I found out y’all be f**king all weekend. My son not even a week old yet and he d*cking you down. I hope this is something you proud of shorty. This man lost his whole family officially. I wish you both the best.”
Safaree and Erica Mena welcomed their son last month. Safaree took to Instagram to announce Legend’s arrival shortly after Erica gave birth. “MR Straittt jr is here,” the rapper exclaimed in an Instagram post that also featured a picture of him holding his newborn son. Erica did not announce the birth of her son immediately. She did, however, take to Instagram on Thursday (July 8) to give an update on her and Legend’s experience in the NICU.

“Day 10 Legend Brian Samuels and Mommy staying STRONG,” Erica told her supporters. “So far five out of the ten days I felt lost,” the celebrity mom admitted. “I’m feeling guilty, confused, and scared. I’ve been getting phone calls and receiving messages. I’m asked a million times how I’m doing and if I’m ok. But how can you be doing? Can you really be ok right now? BUT I remind myself, they love me and they are reaching out BECAUSE they love me.”
Erica admitted that the journey thus far has been “tough.” The LHHATL star, however, told her fans that she remains committed to the process and determined to be a better person for her kids.
“King – Safire – Legend I promise you, your mommy will make you proud,” Erica wrote to her sons and daughter. “No more settling and fighting for anything that doesn’t deserve me,” she added. “You three forever deserve the best of me.”
