Omarion is honoring the past while preparing for the future in the present. The recording artist recently shared family candids that featured him with his kids, Megaa and A’mei, and parents.
One picture showed Omarion standing in between his parents and kids. A’mei and her grandmother, Leslie Burrell, were on one side of the recording artist. Megaa and his grandfather, Trent Grandberry, stood on the other side of Omarion.
“Past, present, and future,” Omarion told his social media fans. “Don’t marvel too much at my purple cheetah,” the celebrity father said of his clothing that was purple and bore cheetah print. “This is the first photo of us all together,” the recording artist revealed.
Omarion takes pride in being a dad. The celebrity shared his desire to rear purpose-driven children during an interview with Black Love last year.
“I’m really straightforward with the truth,” Omarion said when addressing his rearing practices. “I speak to my kids as I would speak to adults,” he added. “I try to help them be more sound in their approach and understanding. I think it’s essential to have a positive role model, so I always try to be the best example for my kids in that way.”
In being the best example, Omarion hopes his drive to pursue things with passion rubs off on his kids. “Because I’m deeply rooted in purpose, I want my children to find what that is for them and have an active relationship with the ‘why’ behind the things they set out to achieve,” the celebrity father told Black Love.
“When you recognize your purpose, you can serve your soul,” Omarion said. “A part of serving your soul is serving others. As long as they do that, then they will continue to carry the legacy.”
Megaa and A’mei are Omarion’s children with Apryl Jones.
