John Legend and Chrissy Teigen’s son, Miles Stephens, celebrated his third birthday on Sunday (May 16). The little one’s father shared a cute Instagram post in honor of his special day.
John uploaded a series of candids that showed Miles in his most stylish and precious moments. The picture of the youngster striking a post while dressed in formal wear was particularly cute as Miles appeared to channel the spirit of his father in the candid.
“This handsome guy is 3 [years old] today,” John told his social media fans. “A whole ‘mini-me,'” Matthew Cherry said of Miles in relation to the youngster’s physical resemblance to his father. “That’s your twin,” another fan agreed. “Happiest of birthdays to him.”
John Legend and Chrissy Teigen have experienced immeasurable happiness along with deep sorrow these past few months. The celebrity couple continues to move forward, however, despite the highs and lows that come with life. It was just a few weeks ago that Chrissy Teigen expressed her desire to expand the family with more kids despite suffering a miscarriage last year.
“I can’t imagine a life without [my children] – I just cannot,” Chrissy shared during an exclusive interview with PEOPLE. “And I can’t imagine a life without more, honestly, so we’ll see,” the celebrity mom shared.
Chrissy Teigen and John Legend were expecting a son, Jack Stephens, to grow their family by one. The celebrity couple honored the life of their little one with a tree.
“We have this new home that we’re building and this tree being planted inside the home,” Chrissy said of the sentimental plant. “The whole reason that I wanted it was so Jack’s ashes could be in that soil and he could be with us all the time and grow through the beautiful leaves on this tree and always be a part of us,” the celebrity mom added.
“He wasn’t just a moment in time,” Chrissy said of her late son. “He was real and he was real to us and we loved him.”
