Congratulations to Ludacris and his wife, Eudoxie Bridges, who are expecting their second child together. Ludacris took to Instagram on Friday (May 14) to celebrate his wife’s birthday and along with the family’s expansion.
“How is it YOUR Birthday and You’re Giving Me The Greatest Gift,” Ludacris asked. “Joyeux Anniversaire Mrs. Bridges,” the rapper added.
Ludacris also shared a series of pictures of his wife showing off her baby bump. “Congratulations @ludacris and Happy Birthday Beautiful @eudoxie,” Monica wrote in response to the news. Karma, Ludacris’ oldest daughter, wrote, “The happiest.”
Ludacris and Eudoxie have one child, Cadence Gaelle Bridges, together. The celebrity couple endured a miscarriage before their current conception.
“Lord, I thank you for the gift of life,” Eudoxie wrote in a heartfelt message regarding her pregnancy. “This year didn’t necessarily start off right for us. I had a miscarriage and needed to have surgery,” the celebrity mom revealed. “It was very easy to complain and self pity but I refused to let the enemy win. I stayed faithful and prayed up. I spent hours focusing on the many ways the Lord has blessed me. How could I complain when God has blessed me with the opportunity to already experience motherhood,” Mrs. Bridges asked.
Some women endure the pain of miscarriage in silence. Eudoxie, however, decided to be open and vulnerable to encourage those dealing with fertility issues. “When the enemy tries to knock you down, get even closer to your faith,” Mrs. Bridges advised her fans. “My faith has been tested many times throughout my life but I’m only getting stronger,” she declared.
“Life will not always go as planned and keeping a positive and grateful attitude will only bring more and bigger blessings,” Eudoxie shared. “Thank you God for your favor over my life. Thank you for my beautiful family and friends who have been so supportive. Thank you for another year.”
Ludacris and Eudoxie are expecting their second child to arrive in the coming weeks. The little one will make Ludacris a father for the fourth time.
