Tamar Braxton is enjoying her life as a mom. The recording artist posted a picture of herself with her son, Logan Herbert, and mom, Evelyn Braxton, in honor of Mother’s Day.

Tamar wrote a beautiful tribute to her mom. “I never knew I wanted to be a mother because the truth is I never thought I could do it remotely as good as you,” she said. “How do you live up to the nurturing, kind, smart, honest wonderful, amazing mother that you are and grew up with,” Braxton asked. “To me, You are perfection. You are the wind beneath my wings,” Tamar told Evelyn.
“The best gift you have given me is showing me the blueprint in how you did it so I can be the same way to beans,” the recording artist wrote to her mom. “I’m so grateful that he knows how amazing you are and loves you like (sic) I do.”

Logan Herbert has, in many ways, been Tamar’s motivation. The youngster has played an especially key role in his mom’s recovery these past few months. Tamar recently gave an update on her mental health, which came after her suicide attempt last year. The celebrity mom credited her son’s happiness as the driving force behind her determination to get better.
“I needed this time to not only see that life is worth living but ‘Tamar, who are you living it for,'” Braxton told her social media fans in March. “While I was sick, I thought I wasn’t what this Amazing child needed. I was broken, sad, hurt, felt sorry for myself, and wasn’t attractive to anyone, not even my own kid,” the recording artist admitted.

Healing continues to be a process for Tamar. The celebrity, however, is much better than she was a few months ago. “I’m better than I used to be,” Braxton shared with her fans in March. “My kid is finally on the way to happy,” the celebrity mom declared. “And I’m happier because of it,” she added. “I had to put myself second so he can see that sometimes you being first all the time can hold you hostage.”
