Kelly Rowland had an eventful Mother’s Day weekend with her husband, Tim Weatherspoon, and kids. The recording artist celebrated her life as a mom as well as her wedding anniversary.
Kelly took to Instagram to commemorate seven years of marriage to Tim. “Happy anniversary, my love,” the recording artist shared. “I choose you. I choose us! I choose love!” Kelly also uploaded candids that celebrated her marriage.
“My favs,” La La Anthony wrote in response to Kelly’s Instagram post. “Happy anniversary lovers,” the celebrity shared. Ciara wrote, “Happy Anniversary! Love you guys.”
Kelly Rowland also shared a candid of herself with her kids, Noah and Titan, in honor of Mother’s Day. “Boy Mom,” Kelly hashtagged. “Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms out there,” Rowland shared.
The Weatherspoon family expanded by one earlier this year when Kelly and Tim welcomed their youngest son, Noah. Kelly recently discussed the notion of having more kids, possibly a girl, with her husband in the coming years.
“I’m sure my husband would love a girl. But he’s so happy with his boys right now, and that’s all that matters to me,” Rowland shared. “This sounds really crazy, but once you have a girl, I’m like, ‘Oh my gosh, I’m going to have to share my husband,'” the celebrity mom admitted. “Because great fathers really want to be there for their girls. I watch all my guy friends with their daughters, and it’s the sweetest thing.”
Kelly’s mom, Doris Rowland Garrison, passed away in 2014 just weeks after Rowland gave birth to her oldest son, Titan. The sudden loss changed the energy of breastfeeding for the celebrity mom.
“I’m breastfeeding successfully now, and I know it’s because when I’m happy, the mood is different,” Kelly recently said of nursing Noah in comparison to Titan. “When I am pumping or anything like that, I always watch something funny,” the celebrity mom continued. “It’s a different outcome. It really is.”
Titan Weatherspoon celebrates his seventh birthday in November. Noah was born on January 21, 2021.
