Kelly Rowland had more than her closest family members on Zoom during her labor and delivery experience. The celebrity mom recently told PEOPLE exclusively that her “sisters” Beyonce and Michelle Williams were also tuned into Zoom as Kelly gave birth to her youngest son.
“We had our family join on Zoom,” Rowland revealed. “They were able to see Noah come into the world,” the singer added. “It was beautiful.”
Kelly Rowland previously told the press that Beyonce and Michelle Williams were more like sisters than fellow band members in her life. “They met him immediately,” Rowland said of Bey and Michelle’s haste to visit little Noah Weatherspoon in person. The former Destiny’s Child singers were able to see the little one at 3-months-old.
“The girls were literally over here at the house just recently and when they met the baby, it was like another part of my heart just … being able to share space with Michelle and Bey is truly a gift,” Kelly shared during a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight (ET). “We’ve known each other for so long and the industry doesn’t really make friendships,” the ‘COFFEE’ singer continued.
“I’m just so grateful for them and they are a highlight of my life,” Kelly said of her relationship with Beyonce and Michelle. “Not professionally, but our friendship and our sisterhood,” the celebrity mom shared.
Noah Weatherspoon made the family a party of four on January 21, 2021. The little one joined his older brother, Titan Weatherspoon, at home.
“My son is absolutely in love with his baby brother, and we’re just really happy,” Kelly Rowland said of the vibes in the Weatherspoon home during a recent interview with Ellen DeGeneres of ELLEN. “It’s really sweet,” the recording artist added. “The house is very sweet. I love it.”
Kelly Rowland and Tim Weatherspoon celebrate seven years of marriage this year. Titan turns 7-years-old in November.
