Jason Derulo and Jena Frumes are in celebration mode. The expectant couple commemorated the impending birth of their son with a baby shower this past weekend.
“Our baby boy already getting showered with so much love,” Jason said after the festivities convened in Los Angeles. “Thank you to everyone that came to our baby shower,” the recording artist said.
Jena also commented on her and Jason’s baby shower. “This tiny human that isn’t even born yet is so loved already,” the pregnant entrepreneur gushed. “Thank you, everyone,” Frumes added. “We feel so blessed and ready for our little one’s arrival.”
Jason Derulo and Jena Frumes shared the news of their expectancy a few weeks back. The celebrity couple had a gender reveal party in the Bahamas shortly after announcing their family’s expansion. Jason predicted Jena was pregnant with their son moments before the results of the party revealed the couple was indeed expecting a boy. Jena predicted she and Jason would welcome a girl later this year.
Jena and Jason met at the gym months before the coronavirus pandemic temporarily closed such establishments. The singer and entrepreneur took the lockdowns as an opportunity to become better acquainted with each other.
“These last few months have changed the way that I think about my career,” Jason recently said of how the quarantine has changed his perspective about life. “I don’t think I can be away from home that long anymore,” the singer revealed. “After all this is over, how do you go back into the world and continue like nothing ever happened? I don’t think that I can go back to that same lifestyle where I’m on a plane every single day,” Derulo declared. “Things will definitely have to change.”
