Kobe and Vanessa Bryant’s daughter, Natalia Bryant, is headed to USC! The 18-year-old seemingly committed to the school after getting wind of her acceptance to the prestigious university.
Natalia shared an Instagram post on Tuesday (Mar. 30) that showed her wearing USC gear while holding up the peace sign. “See you soon,” Natalia wrote in the caption section of the post. Vanessa also weighed in on the importance of USC in Natalia’s college search.

“Congratulations Nani Banani,” the celebrity mom wrote to her daughter. “If you wouldn’t have been accepted I would’ve had to have stabbed these balloons in the guest room and have thrown all this away,” Vanessa shared in reference to the balloons and USC gear she gave Natalia upon learning of the teen’s acceptance to the school. “Thank goodness you got in,” Vanessa said. “I had these shoes made for @nataliabryant in hopes she’d get into her top school.”
Natalia’s custom-made shoes gave tribute to USC’s color scheme of gold and maroon. Nike was the driving force behind the sneakers’ design.

Natalia was accepted to several universities in the northwest including the University of Oregon and Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles. There was even talk of the teen going to the East Coast for college as Natalia’s mom revealed New York University (NYU) as a top choice. Vanessa jokingly said she would work to keep her daughter on the West Coast. The celebrity mom also made a joke about Loyola Marymount University being “too far” from home. Natalia’s acceptance to USC seems like the right fit for everyone.

“Tears of joy,” Vanessa wrote online. “I’m SO happy for you Nani,” the celebrity mom wrote to her daughter. “I know daddy is so PROUD OF YOU. I am so PROUD OF YOU!! Your hard work and dedication was (sic) so worth it. You pushed through the most excruciating pain imaginable and you succeeded. I wish Daddy and Gigi were physically here to celebrate but I know they’re here in spirit. We love you so much!”
Natalia Bryant is the oldest of Vanessa and Kobe Bryant’s five kids. She graduates from high school in the coming weeks.
