Carmelo Anthony and his wife, La La Anthony, celebrated their son Kiyan’s 14th birthday this past weekend. The celebrity parents took to Instagram with messages of love and support for their teen.
“Happy Born Day King,” Carmelo exclaimed online. “Nothing in the world makes me happier than knowing that you are happy Champ,” the celebrity father wrote to his son. “I love you.”
La La Anthony also wrote a sweet message to her son. “God knew I needed you,” La La shared. “It was a match made in heaven,” the celebrity mom doted.
“I love you son. I’m proud of you. I will always be your #1 fan in everything you do. Keep striving to be the best! Mom and Dad love you so much. Let’s record like 100 Tiktoks today.”
Kiyan and La La have made their mark as a hilarious mother-son duo on TikTok. The celebrity mom and her teen present lively videos that involve dancing and lots of laughs. “Somebody come get my phone,” La La wrote online after uploading one of her and Kiyan’s TikTok videos to Instagram. “Name a better duo than me and Kiyan,” the celebrity mom mused. “We need this energy,” La La said.
Kiyan will soon bring high energy to the basketball court while playing for Christ The King High Schools in Queens this fall. Carmelo expressed excitement about his son both attending the school and playing for the basketball team.
“Never thought this day would come so soon,” Carmelo shared online. “Next chapter,” the celebrity father continued. “Proud of you.”
Many may remember Carmelo Anthony’s time playing for the New York Knicks in the NBA. The celebrity father made a name for himself while playing eight seasons with the team. Carmelo moved on to Oklahoma City after the 2016-17 season. Kiyan, however, appears ready to carry on his father’s legacy in New York.
