Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are expecting baby number two! The celebrity couple shared the exciting news of their family’s expansion on Sunday (Feb. 14).
“We can confirm that Archie is going to be a big brother,” a spokesperson for Harry and Meghan revealed. “The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are overjoyed to be expecting their second child,” the representative added.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s pregnancy announcement comes days after the courts awarded Markle a significant victory in her battle with Mail On Sunday. The British newspaper published portions of a letter she wrote to her father after marrying Prince Harry in 2018. The courts ruled such an action as a violation of Markle’s privacy. Meghan expressed gratitude for the decision.
“For these outlets, it’s a game,” Markle shared in a statement after the ruling was handed down. “For me and so many others, it’s real life, real relationships, and very real sadness,” the celebrity continued. “The damage they have done and continue to do runs deep.”

Henry and Meghan tried to expand their family shortly after welcoming their son. The couple, unfortunately, suffered a miscarriage last July.
“It was a July morning that began as ordinarily as any other day: Make breakfast. Feed the dogs. Take vitamins. Find that missing sock. Pick up the rogue crayon that rolled under the table. Throw my hair in a ponytail before getting my son from his crib,” Markle shared in a piece written for the New York Times last November.
“After changing his diaper, I felt a sharp cramp. I dropped to the floor with him in my arms, humming a lullaby to keep us both calm, the cheerful tune a stark contrast to my sense that something was not right,” the celebrity mom continued. “I knew, as I clutched my firstborn child, that I was losing my second.”
