Teyana Taylor took to her Instagram earlier today to share a photo of her look-alike daughters Iman ‘Junie’ Shumpert Jr. and Rue Rose. In the photo, the sisters can be seen smiling at the camera. “Junie 1 & Junie 2, I’m so obsessed,” Teyana captioned of the photo.
Teyana Taylor and husband Iman Shumpert Sr. welcomed their youngest daughter, Rue Rose Shumpert, on September 6, 2020. Like her big sister Iman Tayla (also known as Junie), Rue Rose was delivered in a bathroom without the assistance of a hospital.
Shortly after Rue’s birth, Iman took to Instagram to praise his wife for her strength during labor and delivery.
“At 3:28 am on Sept 6th 2020 Rue Rose decided that the baby shower thrown for her and mommy was too lit. She didn’t make the party but she managed to make the next day her birthdate!!! Now…when we buy homes, we always find a bathroom with great energy… but not in a million years would you be able to tell me we’d deliver both of our daughters in a bathroom without the assistance of a hospital,” he wrote. “Our newest edition entered the world in the water and came out looking around and ready to explore.”
“Let’s talk about the GOAT,” Iman wrote online. “Two kids … no meds … both natural births successfully done at home – in a bathroom,” Shumpert shared. “I get a lot of credit at times but I literally just applaud the way she carried the weight twice, which in actuality equates to her dedicating two years of herself to add to our growing dinner reservation.”
