Kelly Rowland and husband Tim Weatherspoon have welcomed their second child together. The couple shared the news on their respective social media pages.
Kelly wrote, “On the 21st day, of the 21st year, of the 21st Century, Noah Jon Weatherspoon Greeted us! We are truly grateful.” She added that her baby boy weighed in at 7lbs. 8oz 19in.
Tim shared the same news by writing, “On 1-21-21 a star was born!!!”
Rowland first revealed the news of her second pregnancy on the November cover of Women’s Health.
“We had been talking about it loosely, and then COVID happened, and we were just like, ‘Let’s see what happens,’ ” the 39-year-old told the publication.
Due to the pandemic, the singer initially hesitated to share her pregnancy news publicly.
“But you still want to remind people that life is important,” she said. “And being able to have a child… I’m knocking at 40’s door in February. Taking care of myself means a lot to me.”
Kelly made sure to take good care of herself throughout her pregnancy. The singer stayed dedicated to her personal fitness goals by doing yoga, dancing, to name a few.
As for the baby’s name, Kelly shared back in October that her 6-year-old son, Titan Jewell , already had a name picked out for his sibling. “It’s something personal,” she said. “Titan actually already named the baby.” While we still don’t know what the name might be, we are sure it’s cute!
