Singer Solange’s son, Daniel Julez Smith jr., is rumored to be dating Disney actress Skai Jackson after a photo of the teens leaked on the internet yesterday.
In the picture, Skai, who is 18 years old, can be seen sitting on Julez, who is 16 years old.
According to our well-placed source, the photo is in fact about a year old. “If you look closely, Julez has a full head of curls and he recently just shaved his hair off. the duo did date at one point, but they are no longer together,” the source told BCK Online exclusively.
We can confirm that Julez recently cut and colored his hair blonde. The 16-year-old debuted his new look on Instagram a few weeks ago. He later dyed his hair back to black.
If our well-placed source isn’t confirmation that Skai and Julez aren’t dating , then perhaps Julez himself can put the rumors to rest.
According to Gossip site, Lurking In The City, Beyonce’s nephew took his Instagram stories on Friday to clear up the rumors. When asked if he talks to Skai he said “F*&^, No”. He further explained, “I don’t like her like this. Don’t believe what other people say..and her personality and her ego is very big..she need to come down back to earth.”
Skai caught wind of the post and subliminally responded on Twitter. She wrote, “The negative energy you put out is the same energy you are putting on to yourself”.

Jackson has worked hard in Hollywood to make a name for herself as a true Disney darling. In addition to acting, the young adult is an accomplished author who knows a thing or two about clapping back on social media. In 2019, she released her book, Reach for the Skai: How to Inspire, Empower, and Clapback. During an interview with ET for their Unfiltered series, Skai spoke about the price that comes with fame.
She said, “For me, growing up at a young age in the limelight and on social media, I joined Twitter when I was 10 and I got my Instagram when I was 11, so when I joined Instagram, I did notice a lot of hate comments or people would just, like, nitpick at my appearance, just to be funny.”
She continued, “A lot of people go through this. The most popular people do. And for me, being a young age, I didn’t understand why these people were saying these things. I would get really, really sad. But now I’m starting to learn to love myself no matter what and not care what anyone says.”
We hope these two can become friends again one day!
