Omarion, his brother, and his kids are picture-perfect in a sweet family photo! The snap shows the singer, his look-a-like sibling, O’Ryan, son Megaa, and daughter Amei posing for pictures after a day of hiking. “After a day’s hike everything has twice it’s value. Look up @0ryan0ryan say Cha-chinngggg,” Omarion captioned of the photo.
Omarion also shared a series of pictures of his son and daughter, Megaa and Amei. “To all of the parents out there. Your child or children will become what you ARE. So be what you want them to BE.”, he added under the pictures.
The father of two, who shares his two kids with reality star Apryl Jones, says that when it comes to fatherhood, he is “really straightforward with the truth.”
“I speak to my kids as I would speak to adults,” he explained to Essence recently. “I try to help them be more sound in their approach and understanding. I think it’s essential to have a positive role model, so I always try to be the best example for my kids in that way.”
Omarion also wants his kids to find purpose in life. “Because I’m deeply rooted in purpose, I want my children to find what that is for them and have an active relationship with the ‘why’ behind the things they set out to achieve,”
Adding, “When you recognize your purpose, you can serve your soul. A part of serving your soul is serving others. As long as they do that, then they will continue to carry the legacy.”
The relationship between the musician and his ex-girlfriend Apryl has been rather bitter in the years since they split around 2016.
Apryl explained in an interview with VoyageLa, “I was in a really terrible space in 2016, where I had just had my second child, and my son was only one at the time, and I was going through a terrible breakup with their father, He decided to leave without explanation and I was forced to have to pick up the pieces of my life. I went back to work doing what I graduated school with which was radiation science. I worked at MLK in Watts, CA.”
While the former couple may not have the best relationship, they have been co-parenting effortless . The celebrity parents share custody of their children and split time with them equally. Kudos to great parenting!
