Rapper G Herbo and Taina Williams announced on New Year’s Day that they are expecting their first child together. The couple took to their respective Instagram pages to share photos and a video from a pregnancy shoot, with Herbo writing, “Gotta be 1 of God’s favorite cuz my life just keep getting better!! As long as my lessons bring more blessings I’m str8 4 ever. Happy New Year!”

Taina also shared a message under a video from the shoot. She wrote, “Sometimes the greatest things in life are worth hiding for a bigger sacrifice. Happiness is an understatement for the joy that we feel and the light that you’ve already [brought] upon us. God knows I prayed for you ….”
Adding, “The journey is never easy but the story is always amazing to tell .. this feeling is indescribable.. you were made with so much love no one else will ever know the strength of my love for you already.. 2020 was hard but you gave me hope for 2021. We love you & cannot wait to meet you my sweet baby. Happy new year.”
G Herbo, whose real name is Herbert Wright III, is currently awaiting trial in a federal fraud case. The musician and five members of his crew are accused of using stolen identities to make fraudulent charges for extravagant services. During a hearing on December 9th, Herbo pleaded not guilty via a videoconference to the federal charges. His lawyer also revealed that his client’s fiancée, Taina Williams, was four months pregnant:
Wright’s lawyer, meanwhile, revealed during the 30-minute hearing that Wright’s fiancee, Taina Williams, is four months pregnant and asked that he be allowed to travel to New Jersey to visit her and their new baby. U.S. Magistrate Judge Katherine Robertson granted the request. Prosecutors also identified one of the witnesses in the case as an Atlanta woman with whom Wright shares a child from a prior relationship. Wright was ordered not to speak with her about the case.

The Atlanta woman in question is Herbo’s son’s mother, Ari Fletcher. The former couple have a son named Yosohn Wright together.
