Iggy Azalea has been sharing pictures of her and Playboi Carti’s son, Onyx Carter. The rapper uploaded three candids in a row this past weekend.
One picture was of Onyx with Santa Claus. “He’s not too sure about Santa yet,” the celebrity mom said. In the candid, Onyx looked at Santa as if he were trying to figure out what the beloved Christmas personality was saying. Another picture of Iggy Azalea’s son showed him smiling while in his mom’s arms. “The only person who can make me smile with teeth daily,” Iggy said of her little one.
Iggy Azalea and Playboi Cart welcomed their son earlier this year. Onyx arrived months before Iggy and Playboi ended their intimate relationship.
“You lost a real one,” Azalea wrote online after her and Playboi’s breakup in October. The rapper further clarified her status as a single woman by writing, “I’m raising my son alone and I’m not in a relationship.”
Iggy Azalea told fans this past weekend that she and Playboi Carti are finding a way to work together as parents despite their breakup. “I’ve spoken to my bd and as f*cked up as this sh*t’s been … it was for the best because now sh*ts aired out and gonna change for the better with my son,” Iggy said of the conversation. “That’s all I wanted,” the celebrity mom continued.
Iggy took to Twitter earlier in the day to publicly condemn Playboi Carti for allegedly failing to connect with his son. The rapper restored the reputation of her son’s father after their conversation but declared there was no chance of the two of them reconciling their intimate relationship.
“He’s being accountable and we are giving him a chance to do right by his son,” Iggy tweeted in response to a fan who cautioned her about dating Playboi again. “Not a chance to do right by me,” the rapper continued. “Ain’t no take-backs on that! We done.”
