Anansa Sims and Matt Barnes celebrated their son’s second birthday this past weekend. Ashton Joseph Barnes enjoyed a Disney themed birthday with his parents and siblings.
“Ashton’s village,” Anansa said of one candid that showed Ashton surrounded by his mom and siblings while being held by his father. “One-third of the best trio of boys I could ever ask for,” Matt Barnes exclaimed in an Instagram post that highlighted his son’s birthday. “Happy second Birthday to my little monster,” the celebrity father doted. “Thank you @anansasims for giving me such a beautiful little boy.”
Matt Barnes and Anansa Sims welcomed their son on December 7, 2018. The celebrities ended their intimate relationship weeks after welcoming their son. Both Matt and Anansa, however, remain in close contact for the sake of Ashton and his older siblings.
Anansa took to Instagram earlier this year to show a snippet of what turned out to be a beautiful reunion for her and Matt Barnes’ kids. “Kids requested and parents delivered,” Anansa said of the reunion on social media. “I’m team ‘them’ for life,” Sims told her fans. “Nothing I wouldn’t do for those 6 heartbeats.”
Ashton is Anansa Sims and Matt Barnes’ only child together. Anansa also has three kids with ex-husband David Patterson. Matt has two twin sons with his ex-wife, Gloria Govan. Stay tuned for more blended celebrity family news!
