Brooke Valentine is enjoying her life as a wife and mother. The Love and Hip Hop: Hollywood (LHHH) star recently sat down with her husband, Marcus Black, to talk about marriage, kids, and more during a ‘Mommy and Me’ segment.
“That girl is solid muscle,” Brooke said when speaking of her and Marcus’ daughter, Chi Summer. “Everybody sees her coming in, she’s kind of [a] short little thing. When you try to pick her up, it’s like, ‘Woah!’ She is solid and she knows it,” Brooke shared.
Chi Summer often tells those who pick her up to put her down. “She laughs [when you try to pick her up], and she goes, ‘Down, down,'” Valentine revealed during her ‘Mommy and Me’ session. “Every time someone tries to pick her up she says, ‘Down, down.’ She was walking at nine months.”
Brooke Valentine has two kids. “My pregnancies with London versus Chi, there were both high-risk for different reasons,” the LHHH star shared. “With London, I had something called placenta previa, where the placenta is covering the exit, which is scary. So I had that with him. Then, with Chi, it was simply high-risk because of high blood pressure and my age.”
In both instances, Valentine had to stop working and solely focus on her pregnancies. “It was a lot,” the celebrity mom revealed. “It was stressful. My son is special needs [because] he had a stroke at birth. So London’s journey started right away. The journey of him being rehabilitated from this stroke started immediately. With Chi Summer, it was a bit different because she was totally fine. [She] just went on [while] I was in the hospital. She was waiting for me to get out.”
Still, even with both of her pregnancies presenting significant challenges, Brooke Valentine and Marcus Black ponder the notion of having more kids. “I want more kids, but I think Marcus and I met too late,” Brooke admitted during her talk. “[Our relationship] developed pretty fast. So we didn’t get a lot of time to just be young and silly together. So we kind of have to wait until the kids grow up before we can just be nude on the beach.”
Marcus Black also chimed in saying, “This is my best friend. I just want to have fun with my wife. I don’t want to be raising kids forever. We have three kids. My family is awesome.”

Chi Summer is Brooke Valentine and Marcus Black’s only child together. London is Brooke’s son from a previous relationship. Marcus also has a daughter, Brooklyn, from a previous relationship. Stay tuned for more Love and Hip Hop: Hollywood family news!
