Bobby Brown and his family are devastated about the death of Brown’s son, Bobby Brown Jr. The New Edition singer’s 28-year-old son was found in his California home on Wednesday (Nov. 18) after reportedly exhibiting flu-like symptoms.
“Please keep my family in your prayers at this time,” Bobby Brown said in a statement. “Losing my son at this point in our lives has devastated my family,” the celebrity father continued. “There are no words to explain the pain.”
Bobby Brown Jr. had flu-like symptoms days before his death, according to Bobby Brown Sr.’s attorney. “Bobby Brown Jr. was not feeling well a couple [of] days before his death, with flu-like symptoms,” Christopher Brown, Esq. of Brown & Rosen LLC, revealed. “This is a tragic loss and we will be letting the authorities conduct their investigation of his death.”
Bobby Brown Jr.’s death comes five years after Bobby Brown Sr.’s daughter, Bobbi Kristina, passed away due to domestic violence. The Browns have since established The Bobbi Kristina Serenity House in her honor, which is meant to provide a safe haven for victims of domestic violence.
Bobby Brown and Alicia Etheredge Brown have three kids together. Bobby also has two living adult children, La’Princia and Landon, from previous relations. Stay tuned for more Bobby Brown family news!
