Chrissy Teigen is thinking of her late son, Jack Stephens. The celebrity mom recently took to Instagram to post a sweet video that featured Luna paying respects to her little brother.
“We just got baby Jack’s ashes back,” Chrissy said in one portion of the clip. “They’re in [this box] for now,” the celebrity mom told her fans. Chrissy shed light on Luna’s kind gesture of giving Jack a piece of her favorite snack in the video clip. The celebrity mom also filmed her daughter introducing herself to her younger brother.
Chrissy Teigen and John Legend lost their youngest son due to pregnancy complications a few weeks ago. Chrissy checked herself into the hospital after a month of heavy bleeding. The model endured several blood transfusions in an effort to keep her baby alive. Jack succumbed to the complications in the end, though.
“I cried a little at first, then went into full-blown convulsions of snot and tears, my breath not able to catch up with my own incredibly deep sadness,” Chrissy Teigen told her Medium readers in a transparent article. “Even as I write this now, I can feel the pain all over again,” the celebrity mom said. “Utter and complete sadness.”
John Legend wrote a song, called ‘Never Break,’ which he performed for his wife at this year’s Billboard Awards. “I wrote this song because I have faith that as long as we walk this earth, we will hold each other’s hands through every tear, through every up and down, through every test,” John wrote online. “We promised each other this on our wedding day seven years ago, and every challenge we’ve faced has made that promise more powerful, more resilient. Our love will remain. We will never break.”
Luna Stephens is John Legend and Chrissy Teigen’s oldest child. The celebrity couple also has a son named Miles who celebrated his second birthday earlier this year.
