Nicki Minaj is a new mom and yet, five weeks after she and her husband, Kenneth Petty welcomed their baby boy into the world, the 37-year-old admits that she has yet to hire a nanny, calling the very important move, a “difficult decision.”

“Everyone tells me that,” Minaj wrote on Twitter to one fan who questioned why she couldn’t hire a nanny like a “normal celebrity” because her absence is truly missed in the spotlight. “Lol. I rlly should get one. Difficult decision tho.”
Minaj updated her fans on social media in celebration of her new song, “What That Speed Bout?!” If you remember, Minaj filmed the video while pregnant.
Minaj admitted that she has made an attempt to get back into the swing of things on social media, but her little man was not having it. It looks like he wants mom all to himself.

Minaj misses her fans just as much as they miss her. The “What That Speed Bout?!” rapper has found a way to include her fans on the new journey as she has begun calling her newborn their, her fans’, “nephew.”

In addition to the many celebrity well-wishes that Minaj has received on the birth of her son, from A-listers such as Beyonce, Kim, and Kanye West, her tiny new addition is also being showered with gifts from brands such as Yeezy/Addias and Dolce & Gabbana. When we do get to meet the little bundle of joy, he will definitely be seriously dressed to impress.
Although your fans miss you, we completely understand that it is hard to tear yourself away from your new little bundle of joy. When the time is right, it will happen, but until then keep developing that important bond between mother and son. And just know, we cannot wait to meet nephew!
