No, Kandi Burruss is not pregnant! The Real Housewives of Atlanta (RHOA) star’s husband, Todd Tucker, recently trolled Instagram with a candid of his wife in character that made some think Kandi was expecting a child.
“Another addition to the family, babe,” Todd asked in the captions section of the post. The entrepreneur uploaded a picture of his wife posing in what appeared to be a trailer onset while bolstering what appeared to be a baby bump. Some thought Todd was sharing news of his family’s expansion. Others, however, immediately knew Todd was trolling his fans.
“I see y’all not really paying attention to the background,” one observant social media follower said. “She is in a trailer, which means she is playing a roll in a movie, show, or a play. Her character is pregnant.” Another Instagram fan wrote, “You know this is how rumors start. People are allergic to reading and can only comprehend pictures. They’re gonna run with this.”
Some may recall Kandi Burruss sharing her fertility struggles during a recent interview with Tamron Hall on The Tamron Hall Show. The RHOA star and her husband decided to go the way of surrogacy to expand their family with their daughter, Blaze Tucker, which was a choice many did not understand.
“A lot of people don’t really have the information, so they don’t really know,” Kandi told Tamron. “People are like, ‘Well, why do you want to do that?’ And then, they automatically think it’s a vain decision; that you’re just doing it because you don’t want to [carry the baby]. Overall, I just think people have to be a little bit more sensitive when that subject [of surrogacy] comes up.”
Blaze Tucker is Kandi Burruss and Todd Tucker’s youngest child. The couple also has a son named Ace Wells Tucker who celebrated his fourth birthday earlier this year. Stay tuned for more Real Housewives of Atlanta family news!
