Fashion, for most girls, is in the top five of their most favorite things. From playing dress up to invading mom’s closet, girls love style. Well, the famous clothier “Fashion Nova” has launched a new line, “Nova Kids,” geared towards the budding fashionista.
“The @NovaKIDS Collection IS NOW LIVE!!🧸⚡️ We’re excited for you to get your hands on the trendiest, comfiest, and cutest clothes for your mini-me. They won’t want to wear anything else, trust us! Tag Your Mommy & Daddy Friends And Let ‘Em Know! Boys Collection Coming Holiday 2020,” the new line launch post read on Instagram.
Yet, instead of them getting five-star runway ready reviews, the fashion giant is garnering a lot of backlash as many think that the clothes are “too grown” for kids.
I like fashion nova and all but idk how I feel about the kids collection they came out with

@FashionNovaHelp I’m disappointed to see children dressing so provocatively on your fashion nova kids section. It could’ve been such a cute idea if you just made the clothing a little bit more appropriate.

This is not the first controversy this year that has set the internet ablaze in respect to the provocative portrayal of young girls. If you remember, the French Netflix film Cuties stirred up a tremendous controversy with their US marketing/content. The popular hashtag #CancelNetflix even began to trend in protest of the film.
Fashion Nova kids need to rethink this whole thing, distasteful.

Despite the controversy over the line being “too grown,” Chris Brown’s daughter, Royalty Brown, along with her little sister, Sinatra, are the latest models for Fashion Nova’s new line.
“@NovaKIDS by @FashionNova IS NOW LIVE!!🧸GO FOLLOW & SHOP @NovaKIDS for the trendiest, comfiest , and cutest kid’s clothes www.Fashionnova.com#FashionNovaPartner ,” Brown captioned a photo on her Instagram promoting the line.
We want you to weigh-in on this hot topic. Do you think that Fashion Nova for girls is too grown or just right? Does it give them a little sass or as the one Twitter user posted above, does “Fashion Nova need to rethink this whole thing…”? Sound-off, we want to hear from you!
Stay tuned, because a boy’s line will launch just in time for the holidays!
