DaBaby is under criticism after showing video footage of his daughter rolling in a bed of money while spending time with her father. Many BCK Instagram fans could not see the logic in such an act and scrutinized the rapper for flaunting his wealth online.
In the video clip, DaBaby rests beside his daughter who rolls in cash spread across the floor. The 2-year-old rubs the money in her face at one point after separating dollar bills.
“The fact that she’s laying on the floor playing with daddy is what she comprehends most,” one BCK fan said. Other social media followers were not as gracious with their responses.
“This baby gonna wake up with ringworm,” one BCK subscriber said in response to DaBaby’s daughter rolling in money. Another fan said, “Donate some to the unfortunate. Many people lost jobs cant pay rent or buy food … and money bring the most germs. I won’t say more.
DaBaby has been in the spotlight after admitting to fathering a child outside of his relationship with his longtime girlfriend, Meme. DaBaby responded to Meme’s accusations of infidelity earlier this year by confirming that he indeed had another child on the way from another woman.
“Any situation that my daughter is dead in the middle of, I never shine a negative light on it,” DaBaby said when confirming his expectancy of another child. “I never feed negative intentions into it,” the recording artist added. “As a parent, I would never want to set that example for my child. I would never want my child to ever be able to look back and see that. I Would never even invite y’all into my child’s world. That’s not just what I do.”
