Erykah Badu’s daughter, Puma, continues to captivate fans everywhere. The teen recently shared a video on TikTok in which she sang the lyrics to ‘Almost There’ sang by Princess Tiana in Disney’s Princess and The Frog.
Puma left no details out as she repeated what Tiana says in the movie right before going into the song. The confidence Erykah Badu’s daughter exuded while singing brought listeners into her world for one minute and eight seconds.
This is not the first time Puma has amazed fans with her singing. Some may remember Puma’s selection of ‘One Night Only’ from Dreamgirls (2006) last year. Erykah Badu proudly shared the video of her daughter singing onstage at what appeared to be a talent show. More than 300,000 of the recording artist’s fans loved Puma’s unique sound.
“Sing Girl,” one of Erykah’s Instagram fans exclaimed after watching the clip. Another social media follower wrote, “Not only is she’s beautiful but also very talented.”
TikTok appreciated Puma’s recent cover of ‘Almost There.’ Some even rationed that Erykah Badu’s daughter sounded better than the original version of the song. What do you think?
