Bath time is a perfect time for parents to bond with their babies and Malika Haqq and ex-boyfriend O.T. Genasis are making sure to do just that with their son Ace Flores.
Haqq took to her Instagram stories earlier today to share clips from the family bonding time. “Did something good right. We have the happiest baby,” wrote in Instagram stories.
Malika Haqq and O.T. Genasis split right before their son’s birth. On the Season 19 premiere of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Haqq explained that O.T. Genasis’ apathy in preparing for their son’s birth drove her to break up with him, sharing a story about O.T. refusing to build Ace’s crib while she was pregnant.
“I never envisioned that I would have a child and be single,” Malika admitted. “I always thought that my baby would be made in love and maybe eventually I’d be married or at least living together. ”

You’re the son that shines on me everyday. You’re the brightest light. Nothing compares to your smile and laughter, because nothing makes me happier. You are indeed my favorite blessing and I am here for every lesson. My baby. My boy. My joy. I love you forever son. #nationalsonday
She continued, “When I talk to my son’s father, he goes, ‘Oh, we have time for that.’ That’s his answer to everything,” Haqq shared with her friend Khloe Kardashian. “I’m like, ‘Good to know you’re not going to be any f—ing help.’ I literally can’t sleep. My angst is not a joke. So I guess I need to get a handyman here to… put his crib together ’cause his dad doesn’t do stuff like that,” said Haqq.
Malika Haqq shared that she ultimately left O.T. Genasis because maintaining their relationship was getting “harder and harder.”
“Me and my son’s father actually dated for two and a half years, but we were just in two different places in our lives and I decided that it was better for me to not stay in the relationship because it was getting harder and harder,” she explained. “But we’ve agreed to co-parent and bring our son into a loving environment, and that’s the most important thing.”
