Actor Tyrese Gibson, a proud father to two girls, recently celebrated his youngest daughter’s second birthday. He had his eldest daughter, 13-year-old Shayla Gibson with his ex-wife and his now 2-year-old daughter Soraya Gibson with his current wife Samantha Lee Gibson. Tyrese took to Instagram to honor Soraya on her second birthday, sharing a few adorable photos of her. He wrote an emotional message to his daughter in the caption, which reads as follows:
“Happy 2nd birthday to our angel….. Soraya Lee Gibson conceived on vacation in Turks and Caicos and born 2 years ago today in Atlanta, Ga….. Keep reading here’s Soraya’s story!” wrote Tyrese.
“Funny how times FLY when you’re having fun! Seems like yesterday you were born……. So what I just did was found as many [ 1st ] as I could! 👀image 1 [first time ever behind the steering wheel! Car was PARKED but we had the time of our life! Image #2 the first time I held you in my arms after we were moved to our room when your beautiful mother blessed me/us and pushed you out!” said Tyrese.
“Photo #3 you walking and taking your first steps ever in London in our hotel room called the GROVE! You started with me you loved remote controls as a kid so your mother held it in her hand and you blessed us both privately as we watched you take your first 8 to 10 steps],” gushed Tyrese.
“Photo #4 is of your first PHOTOSHOOT in the ATL where you were born the Photographer @jessicalimonphotography and her assistant dressed you into 10 outfits as you were SOUND ASLEEP and as me and your mother watched in pure amazement you posed and posed and smiled IN your sleep and got changed and the outcome was pure MAGIC!” he continued.
“Happy Birthday angel daddy and your mother…. photo #5 was of your big sister and ONLY sibling HELD YOU IN HER ARMS for the first time… She wasn’t in town when you were born but as soon as Shayla was flown to Atlanta she couldn’t WAIT to hold you in her arms cause for the last 5 Christmas list’s she asked Santa for not just a sibling but a BABY SISTER and she got exactly what she asked and prayed for!” he wrote.
“[Last photo] is of your mother….. The woman who I prayed for and that God sent… The woman with the biggest heart who her life literally on the line to push you out and give birth… The woman who prays over you every day and every night,” wrote Tyrese. “The woman who was sent here to make me a better man/father/husband…..
