Keyshia Cole and Daniel Gibson have come to a custody agreement concerning their son, Daniel Gibson Jr. The celebrity parents have decided that joint custody works best for their situation.
According to The Blast,
“The Love & Hip Hop star and Gibson have officially settled their divorce and have agreed to cover the costs of parenting their son while he is living with each of them.
In the filing, the ex-couple also agrees not to say anything bad about the other parent or their family members.”
Neither Keyshia nor Daniel will receive child support from the other party per the agreement.
Keyshia Cole and Daniel Gibson Sr. moved to end their marriage three years ago. She filed for divorce back in December 2017, and it has taken nearly 72 months for the former couple to come to an agreement regarding their son. Daniel Sr. also allegedly filed for spousal support, which was something he denied when asked about the matter by his estranged wife.
“He said no, but so, why was the paperwork filed if you say no,” Cole questioned when speaking about the rumor during a recent interview. “I don’t want to talk about it. I don’t want to listen. I don’t want to hear it,” the recording artist said. “He says it’s not true. I’m hoping that wouldn’t be the case. I’m hoping he would never try to do that.”
Daniel Gibson Jr. is Keyshia Cole’s only child with her ex-husband. The celebrity mom also has a son named Tobias with Niko Khale. Stay tuned for more celebrity child custody news!
