Married To Medicine Toya Bush-Harris is receiving both support and backlash after revealing her decision to send her sons, Avery and Ashton, back to a traditional classroom in the middle of the worldwide COVID-19 pandemic. The celebrity mom took to Instagram to share a picture from her sons’ first day, which sparked the debate.
“Time For School,” Toya told her social media fans. “Small Class Sizes are for Us,” the Married To Medicine star said. “Ask me all about it later in the year,” Toya told her fans.
Some supported Toya Bush-Harris’ decision to send her kids back to a traditional classroom environment. “Kids need to be physically in [the] school building,” one fan said. “So many are suffering at home and not learning anything.” There were others, however, who questioned the logic behind Toya’s decision given the rising COVID-19 cases in Georgia and the fact that the Married To Medicine star is a stay-at-home mom.
“What about the Georgia school district that started two weeks ago and the number of students and teachers testing positive went up significantly,” one fan asked. “Now they’re all in quarantine,” the social media follower stated. Another of Toya Bush-Harris’ Instagram supporters wrote, “God is definitely in control but my child will be at home. Honestly, I prefer hands-on, but right now home is where she will be and I’m gonna be involved every step of the way.”
How will Toya Bush-Harris’ #MommyChronicles turn out now that her sons have gone back to school? We will have to keep our eyes on the Married To Medicine star to find out!
